In her second season, the young Maiorese, 22, a student of Art History at Salerno, says she feels more confident in hanging around tables and connecting with people. Let’s get to know her in this interview.
How did you start working at Pineta in 1903?
Two years ago, I saw an ad. Although I had no experience in the restaurant industry, I still decided to try my hand. I had an interview, and they took me on.
What do you do?
I wait tables and take care of dessert plating, which satisfies me. I also like to propose them to customers, especially the lemon caprese, my favorite dessert at Pineta 1903.
What do you like about this job?
I like my relationship with colleagues, but also my relationship with customers. When I started two years ago, I was in a constant state of anxiety. However, I feel more confident, communicate better, and am more comfortable making suggestions than initially.
