A historic restaurant on the Amalfi Coast reopens:

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBar Pineta officially opened its doors in 1903 in Maiori, on the Amalfi Coast. Known primarily for its lemon grove, this establishment has had only two owners: Luigi and his son Lello. Last winter, Lello came up with the idea of \u200b\u200bselling Bar Pineta, and Carlo De Filippo jumped at the chance to purchase this historic restaurant.\n\n

“A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON LIFE: RENOVATION”<\/strong><\/h4>\n“In April 2015, Carlo purchased the establishment and immediately began renovations. Only the original flooring was left intact.”\n\n… “Carlo maintains that, beyond the extensive renovation work, the biggest challenge was the residents themselves: “All the Maiori residents were convinced that, once I took over the establishment, I would reopen within a week, leaving it unchanged. Everyone was asking me when I would reopen.\u201d Incredibly, Carlo and the entire team managed to complete the work in three months. \u201cIt was a huge challenge,\u201d Carlo explains. \u201cThis restaurant is very large and rich in history.
